Cycling Nature Experience

PIRINEXUS · GIRONA

From Girona to the French Pyrenees and back.

4 Stages · 305 km · +3.700 m · Gravel

A circular route that starts and finishes in Girona, crosses the Pyrenees into France, and returns through the interior of the province, following our own interpretation of the Pirinexus.

We don’t follow the Pirinexus just because a track says so.

The Pirinexus was the starting point, but this is our way of riding it.

We leave Girona and head towards the Pyrenees, cross the border into France, and then return to Girona through the interior.

Over the years, we’ve ridden these roads, greenways, and gravel tracks. That’s why we’ve been able to adapt parts of the original route and link together trails we know from our own rides.

We’ve replaced some of the paved connections with dirt tracks, added a few small detours, and chosen the paths that, for us, make this route more fun on a gravel bike.

We’re not here to complete an official track. We want to show you our Girona from the saddle.

Intimidated by the mountains? The Pyrenees are best enjoyed when we prepare together

Crossing the border on a bicycle sounds daunting, but the key isn't being an elite athlete—it's arriving well-prepared and riding unhurried. Here is how we look after you:

Unplug from the routine. We take care of everything else.

Organizing the Pirinexus on your own means spending hours piecing together GPS tracks that aren't always up to date, lugging heavy panniers that destroy your gravel bike's agility on the climbs, and crossing your fingers against mechanical mishaps in the middle of the mountains.

With us, you leave all that logistical hassle behind. You travel light—carrying only what you need for the day's stage—with the peace of mind that a support vehicle is waiting at key points with cold water and food, and the confidence of riding in a small group where everyone helps each other every step of the way. We get you physically prepared before departure and ride alongside you on the road so your only job is to lift your head, breathe in the fresh Pyrenean air, and enjoy the descent toward the sea.
