1. Purpose of the service
Cycling Nature Experience (CNE) offers guided and self-guided cycling routes in gravel, road, and MTB formats, both within Spain and in other international destinations, including logistics services, luggage transport, mechanical assistance, and a support vehicle when contracted.
2. Contract formalization
The travel contract between the client and Cycling Nature Experience is considered formalized once the reservation has been confirmed in writing by Cycling Nature Experience and the corresponding deposit payment has been received.
The contract is governed by the information published on the website, the confirmed itinerary, these General Conditions, and any additional agreements communicated to the client in writing prior to the trip.
3. Types of activity
The client may choose the following options:
3.1 Self-Guided Route
Includes:
- Tracks GPX
- Route information
- Phone support
- Accommodation management
- Luggage transport
- Hotel–airport transfers
Does not include:
- guide
- rescue
- evacuation
- on-site mechanical support
- assistance vehicle
The participant must have valid sports insurance.
3.2 Guided Route with Local Guide
Includes:
- Includes everything from the self-guided route
- Local guide
- Group pacing and flow
- Safety and regrouping
- Basic first aid
No incluye vehículo → no existe evacuación en coche.
3.3 Guided Route + Assistance Vehicle
Includes:
- Includes everything from the self-guided route
- Local guide
- Assistance vehicle
- Basic mechanical support
- Water supply
- Basic refreshments
- Accessory evacuation to a safe point (NOT commercial transport)
3.4 Assistance Vehicle Only (no guide)
Includes:
- Includes everything from the self-guided route
- Logistical support
- Basic mechanical support
- Refreshment points
- Accessory evacuation if needed
Guide is not included.
4. Mandatory equipment for participants
Participants must carry:
- Certified helmet
- Rear light
- Charged mobile phone
- GPS device or navigation app (mandatory in self-guided routes)
- Emergency thermal blanket
- Tube / tubeless kit
- Pump or CO₂
- Multitool
- Appropriate clothing
- ID / personal documentation
- Valid sports insurance covering the activity days
Participants must know basic bike maintenance:
- Fixing punctures
- Changing brake pads
- Basic adjustments
5. Equipment and services provided by CNE
(Only when an assistance vehicle is contracted)
- Tools
- Spare tubes
- Sealant
- Brake pads
- Cables
- Floor pump
- First aid kit
- Water supply
- Basic refreshments
6. Recommended physical and technical level
Clients must be in suitable physical condition for the route selected.
Recommended levels:
- Intermediate
- Advanced
- Expert
CNE may modify the route if safety requires it.
7. Mandatory insurance
7.1 Sports insurance (client)
Todos los participantes deben disponer de un seguro deportivo que cubra:
- accidents
- medical assistance
- rescue
- evacuation
- personal liability
Without insurance → participation is not allowed.
7.2 Civil Liability insurance (CNE)
CNE holds the mandatory Civil Liability insurance required by Catalan regulations.
7.3 Accident insurance for participants (CNE)
CNE holds the Accident Policy required under Decree 56/2003.
8. Traffic and safety rules
- Always respect traffic laws
- Ride side-by-side only when safe
- Nunca circular 3 en paralelo.
- In low visibility → single file
- Follow the guide (if applicable)
- Do not leave the group without notice
CNE may adjust the route for safety.
9. Limitation of liability
Participation in cycling and active tourism activities involves inherent risks. The client acknowledges and accepts these risks upon formalizing the reservation with Cycling Nature Experience.
Cycling Nature Experience will not be responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages resulting from improper use of equipment, failure to comply with safety regulations, or factors beyond its control.
Cycling Nature Experience’s liability is limited exclusively to the services expressly included in the contracted trip.
10. Weather policy
CNE may modify, shorten or reschedule the activity in case of:
- heavy rain
- strong wind
- storms
- dense fog
- extreme temperatures
- road safety risks
11. Payments and reservation confirmation
To confirm the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total trip amount is required.
El importe restante deberá abonarse como máximo 90 días antes del inicio del viaje, salvo que se haya acordado otra cosa por escrito.
Failure to comply with the payment deadlines may result in the cancellation of the reservation by Cycling Nature Experience, following prior notice to the client. In such cases, the deposit paid may be retained to cover administrative and reservation costs, where permitted under applicable law.
12. Cancellation policy
Client cancellations:
Más de 60 días antes del inicio del viaje: devolución del 100% del importe abonado, excepto gastos de gestión, reservas no reembolsables o costes ya comprometidos con terceros, si los hubiera.
Entre 59 y 30 días antes del inicio del viaje:el depósito abonado (30%) no es reembolsable.
Menos de 30 días antes del inicio del viaje: importe no reembolsable.
Cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, including personal, medical, or travel-related circumstances, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance.
CNE cancellations
Cycling Nature Experience reserves the right to cancel or modify the trip for reasons related to safety, weather conditions, force majeure, insufficient participant numbers, or any other circumstances that make it impossible to operate the trip under appropriate conditions.
In the event that Cycling Nature Experience cancels the trip before its scheduled start date, the client will be offered either an alternative departure date at no additional cost or a refund of all amounts paid, as applicable under the relevant laws and regulations.
En caso de circunstancias inevitables y extraordinarias, Cycling Nature Experience no será responsable de compensaciones adicionales, sin perjuicio de los derechos de reembolso que puedan corresponder al cliente.
13. Force majeure
Cycling Nature Experience is not responsible for cancellations, changes, or delays arising from force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or any circumstance beyond its control.
En estos casos, Cycling Nature Experience intentará ofrecer soluciones alternativas razonables, como cambios de fecha, ajustes de itinerario o servicios equivalentes, sin que ello implique necesariamente derecho a compensación adicional, salvo los derechos que correspondan al cliente conforme a la normativa aplicable.
14. Evacuation conditions
Self-guided routes
No evacuation included → client must use their sports insurance.
Guided routes without vehicle
No evacuation included → only basic first aid + 112.
Routes with a support vehicle
Accessory evacuation to a safe point or accommodation. Not commercial passenger transport.
15. Claims and complaints

16. Acceptance
By booking any service, the client fully accepts these General Conditions.
17. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These General Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of the contract, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Spain, without prejudice to the provisions established by consumer and user protection regulations.
