This route crosses the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, connecting the most beautiful valleys of Girona, Ripollès and Alta Cerdanya.It combines rural roads, forest trails and some asphalt stretches to link high-mountain landscapes, forests and small Pyrenean villages full of history. DETAILED ITINERARY
A balanced route combining smooth sections with more technical terrain — perfect for gravel riders.
Day 0 — Arrival to Girona
Arrival at the Barcelona or Girona airports → Transfer included to your hotel in Girona.
Day 1 — Girona → Torelló (100 km | +1,900 m)
Start from Girona through valleys, forests and quiet secondary roads. The route heads into the pre-Pyrenees, mixing fast gravel, easy climbs and rural landscapes before arriving in Osona. Entry into Torelló through rolling farmland and low mountains. Terrain: Fast gravel + forest tracks + asphalt links.
Day 2 — Torelló → Guardiola de Berguedà (72 km | +2,100 m)
A demanding pre-Pyrenean mountain day. Continuous climbs on forest tracks, wild scenery and remote passes with wide views of Berguedà. Final descent into Guardiola through dense woodland and deep valleys. Terrain: Forest tracks + technical gravel sections + secondary road.
Day 3 — Guardiola de Berguedà → La Seu d’Urgell (90 km | +2,300 m)
Queen stage with long climbs and a full Pyrenean atmosphere. The route alternates high-mountain gravel, open ridgelines and long descents towards the Segre valley. Smooth finish entering La Seu via quiet roads. Terrain: High-mountain gravel + rocky segments + quiet asphalt.
Day 4 — La Seu d’Urgell → Bellver de la Cerdanya (72 km | +1,900 m)
A scenic route along the northern side of the Cadí range. Steady climbs through forests, panoramic viewpoints and flowing tracks at altitude. Arrival in Cerdanya through wide landscapes and fast pistes. Terrain: Forest tracks + smooth gravel + road links.
Day 5 — Bellver de la Cerdanya → Camprodon (110 km | +2,500 m)
Long and demanding stage crossing the natural border between Cerdanya and Ripollès. Prolonged climbs on remote tracks, a memorable descent into the Ribes valley, and one last mountain pass before reaching Camprodon. Terrain: Mountain gravel + tough tracks + secondary roads.
Day 6 — Camprodon → Girona (84 km | +1,100 m)
Final day with a gentle start through the Camprodon valley and a long descent towards the volcanic area and Greenways. A more relaxed stage to savour the end of the trip, entering Girona on comfortable terrain. Terrain: Greenway + easy gravel + asphalt connections.
Day 7 — Come back home!
Return transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Girona or Barcelona airport.
