BARCELONA NATURAL PARK
A road cycling experience through natural landscapes and quiet secondary roads, designed for smooth, steady riding without rushing.
Barcelona Natural Park · Road Cycling
This route is born from many hours spent on the bike exploring this territory, understanding its rhythms, its landscapes, and its natural way of moving forward.
It is not designed to accumulate kilometers or to compete, but to link balanced stages, quiet roads or tracks, and villages with character, always maintaining a sustainable and enjoyable pace.
It’s an experience designed for those who value the complete journey: the riding, the surroundings, the well-thought-out logistics, and the peace of mind of knowing that everything is carefully planned from day one.
The route links some of the most emblematic natural areas around Barcelona, such as the Montseny Natural Park, Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac, and Montserrat.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Balanced stages, with recognizable climbs and quiet roads, designed to enjoy the ride day after day.
Day 0 — Arrival in Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona or Girona airports → Transfer to your hotel in Barcelona included.
Day 1 — Terrassa → Mura (80 km | +1,500 m)
Departure from Terrassa towards Rellinars, with a progressive climb that leads into the Montserrat road climb, one of the most iconic sections of the route. After descending toward el Pont de Vilomara, the stage finishes with the final ascent to Mura via Rocafort, steady and very quiet.
Day 2 — Mura → Hostalets de Balenyà (72 km | +1500 m)
A mountainous transition stage linking the Granera climb and the winding roads of Gallifa, always on secondary asphalt. The terrain is leg-breaking and demands good effort management before entering the Montseny area.
Day 3 — Hostalets de Balenyà → Espinelves(76 km | +2100 m)
Queen stage with sustained elevation gain and a fully mountainous atmosphere within the Montseny Natural Park. Narrow roads, dense forests, and constant climbs make this one of the most demanding and spectacular stages of the route.
Day 4 — Espinalves → Vic (72 km | +1100 m)
A highly scenic stage crossing the Montseny, combining narrow and quiet roads. The passage through Rupit, one of Catalonia’s most iconic villages, marks the day’s main highlight before riding along the Sau reservoir.
Day 5 — Vic → Tarrasa (85 km | +1500 m)
The final day begins with a fast, flowing section toward Navarcles, following quick roads before entering the surroundings of Talamanca. The return becomes more demanding with the final climb to Coll d’Estenalles via its quieter side, a tough and highly symbolic finale before the definitive descent back to Terrassa.
Day 6 — Come back home!
Return transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Girona or Barcelona airport.
