Each stage has its own identity, but they all share the same thread: flowing gravel, green landscapes, and the feeling of moving forward without rushing.

Day 0 — Arrival to Girona

Arrival and transfer to the accommodation. A relaxed day to get to know each other, prepare the bikes and review the route. Girona is the perfect starting point before heading into the Pyrenees.

Day 1 — Girona → Sant Joan de les Abadesses (80 km | +1.300 m)

We leave Girona via greenways and easy gravel tracks, following the old railway path. The landscape becomes more rural with every kilometre.
A first day to find the rhythm and start feeling that the journey has begun.

Day 2 — Sant Joan de les Abadesses → Le boulou (88 km | +860 m)

We cross into the French Pyrenees via quiet roads and open landscapes. Riding here is steady and relaxed, with wide views and villages that seem frozen in time.
The stage finishes on the other side of the border, with the feeling of having changed worlds without ever leaving the bike.

Day 3 — Le boulou → Figueres (63 km | +870 m)

A shorter and highly enjoyable transition day. Tracks and secondary roads linking vineyards, open plains, and gravel sections that invite you to keep rolling.
A lighter stage to recover, enjoy the surroundings, and arrive in Figueres with fresh legs.

Day 4 — Figueres → Girona (72 km | +600 m)

Final day to close the loop. Rural roads and fast gravel sections lead us back to Girona at an unhurried pace, taking in everything we’ve experienced.
A closing stage: light, enjoyable and leaving a very good feeling behind.

Day 5 — Come back home!

Return transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Girona or Barcelona airport.

At Cycling Nature Experience, we don’t offer generic routes. We design cycling journeys shaped by our own experience, built from years of riding long-distance routes and exploring lesser-traveled territories.

We’re not focused on accumulating kilometres, but on creating balanced experiences where pace, terrain, and surroundings come together naturally. Routes designed to enjoy the journey, with carefully planned logistics and close, personal support.

We know every section of the route around Girona, and we know how to turn it into an authentic, well-balanced experience where challenge, enjoyment, and cultural immersion come together naturally.

What makes us different?

  • Small groups and a personal approach
  • A cycling guide riding with the group throughout the trip
  • Experiences designed from a deep passion for cycling and nature
  • This isn’t just any self-guided route
  • It’s not an improvised getaway

Our goal: that you live the essence of cycling in freedom, with the peace of mind of having a professional team behind you.
